Now that you are accustomed to school 3 days a week I feel like the pressure is on to keep you entertained when school is out. I tried to keep us busy this week and we had lots of fun!
Monday: Play at Charlotte and Jack's house.
Tuesday: Noah's Ark at the Skirball Cultural Center
We invited anyone from your class who was interested in joining us and had a couple of families who came. Our entry times weren't right on, but we at least got to say hello and visit a little.
We got there with a few minutes to spare before our timed tickets to Noah's Ark so we got to make a little craft in their art center before the Ark.
Now, for the Ark! My pictures don't do it justice. There were so many fun things there, I think I enjoyed it as much as you!
Wednesday: New park with Charlotte and Jack.
Thursday: Mommy-daughter picnic at the park. We brought your bike with us and you were really excited to see big kids getting their bikes out when we got there, too.
Friday: LA Zoo. Daddy even took the day off to join us!
Anyone who is a regular visitor of the LA zoo probably knows how hard it can be to actually get to see the elephants, so this was a real treat when we happened to catch this one at feeding time!
You wore your tiger ears from when we came here on your 2nd birthday and really wanted to show the tiger your ears. When we got to the tiger exhibit no one could find the tiger, but you were persistent and we eventually spotted him lounging behind some bushes. Just then he started moving around and we got to see him get up and walk around the enclosure. What luck! And of course, you showed him your ears.
Exhausted after a long day and a long week.
