Memorial Day Weekend Day Trip
We made a short trip today to visit the Oak Glen Preserve. We really tried to enjoy the day, but you didn't want to be there and the constant whining was working my nerves. When we encountered the sign stating that a mountain lion had been spotted ahead on the trail we decided to turn back, so I feel like the whole day was not exactly the fun outing I had planned.
Nevertheless, it was pretty there and we tried to make the most of it. The wildflowers were beautiful and the green mountain backdrop was a stark contrast to the desert browns we're accustomed to.
