Halloween 2019

Happy Halloween!  This year you dressed up as Isadora Moon, half-fairy, half-vampire.  She is from a great book series that we love.  You even had a Pink Rabbit to carry with you, just like Isadora's.

You slept a little late that morning, but when you got up you requested a special Halloween breakfast, so I had to think quickly and made you peanut butter toast.  That's what Isadora eats for her 2 breakfasts every day (one in the morning, and one with her vampire Dad in the evening).

Of course this meant that I was Isadora's mom, Countess Cordelia, a fairy.  And Dad was Count Bartholomew, a vampire.

Making crafts for your school celebration.

This was the week immediately following our vacation and we were still a little off schedule.  You looked so tired by this point in the day.

Someone kindly offered to take a picture of us together but you pretty much didn't want to have anything to do with it, so this is the best we got.

All ready for trick-or-treating!  It was actually chilly this year, which made it feel like a real Halloween to Dad and me.  I think that was the best treat.
