Today was your first day of 2nd grade! This year is certainly off to a different start, but I am optimistic and hopeful that it will be a great year. For one thing, you got the amazing Mrs. Schnure for a teacher! You were so excited when I told you that you literally fell right off the couch.
Since you are going to be attending school from home, I have deemed myself Teacher's Assistant. And you, sweet girl, prepared 2 gifts to give me first thing this morning labeled To: my new teacher's asistant. You asked me to get out your mini Christmas tree to put them under, but seeing as those are all boxed away for now, we agreed that the flowers could fill in as a summer tree.
One of the bags had a bracelet for me to wear and the other a tiny stuffed bear that is now sitting on my desk.
